Thursday 14th January 2016 The 20:20 Print Exchange

Last year I was one of the 584 artists that took part in the Hot Bed Press 20:20 Print Exchange, where each participating artist had to produce an edition of 25 prints, measuring 20x20cm. I produced 25 Small Yellow Wallpaper prints, 24 were send randomly to the other participating artists and studios, and the remaining print, along with the 583 prints from the other artists, all go on tour.

Tuesday 05th January 2016 Exhibiting at The Portico Library, Manchester

The exhibition features four new reduction mono/lino prints, which are in response to "The Yellow Wallpaper", a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman - a young woman descends into madness while seeing strange patterns underneath the wallpaper at which she claws.

For centuries, Gothic art and literature have captured the imaginations of millions and influenced every field of culture, from architecture and music to drama, film and fashion. In January 2016 The Portico hosts pieces from Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, works by contemporary artists Julianne French, Marion Kuit and Jonathan Hargreaves and fascinating rare books and prints from our collection.
